Can I switch tiers later?
Yes. You can upgrade from Basic to Silver or Gold at any time -- payment activates immediately. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date, not immediately.
What happens if I miss my renewal date?
You get a 7-day grace period where your profile stays visible as Basic but EOI access pauses. After that, your account reverts fully to Basic, and if you were a founding member, that rate is permanently forfeited.
How long is my founding rate locked in for?
For life, as long as you renew continuously without any lapse. There is no time limit on the discount itself -- only continuous renewal keeps it active.
How do I pay, and is it secure?
Payments are processed securely through Cashfree -- UPI, cards, and net banking are all supported. PATVAAR never stores your card or bank details directly.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Once payment is received it is non-refundable, except for duplicate charges or platform errors. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
Will I be reminded before my subscription expires?
Yes. We email you at 30 days, 15 days, and 1 day before your renewal date, always mentioning your exact locked-in rate so there are no surprises.
Terms, plainly stated
Founding rate condition — Your founding rate is valid only with continuous, uninterrupted annual renewal. A lapse in renewal permanently ends your founding rate. Reactivation after a lapse is charged at the then-current standard rate — not the founding rate, not the old standard rate you may remember.
Grace period — You get 7 days after expiry before downgrade takes effect. During this window, EOI access is paused; your listing stays visible as Basic.
On lapse — After the grace period, your account reverts to Basic. Your profile and Trust Score remain visible. EOI capability is removed. If you've embedded your Silver or Gold certificate badge on your own website, it will automatically show as expired — continuing to display it as valid after expiry is a misrepresentation.
Renewal reminders — We notify you 30 days, 15 days, and 1 day before expiry, referencing your locked founding rate by exact amount so there are no surprises.
Price protection — Standard (non-founding) tier prices may change over time. Active founding members are shielded from those changes for as long as they remain continuously renewed. Any new plans or services we introduce will be communicated in advance.
Billing cycle — All plans are annual only — no monthly option currently. Your renewal date is fixed to your original signup date each year, not the date you happen to pay if you renew late within the grace window.
