Our Story

Built to Fix a Problem That Should Not Exist.

India has millions of NGOs doing important work and thousands of crores in CSR funding looking for credible partners. And yet the two cannot reliably find each other. PATVAAR is our answer to that.

Why PATVAAR Exists

The Problem We Are Solving

India has over 3.3 million registered NGOs — one of the largest civil society ecosystems in the world. Yet fewer than 1% have any standardised, publicly accessible credibility signal that a funder can rely on.

CSR teams spend weeks on due diligence for each partner, relying on personal referrals and gut instinct. The process is slow, inconsistent and biased towards organisations with existing networks.

Meanwhile, thousands of capable NGOs remain invisible to funders — not because their work is poor, but because they have no institutional presentation and no connection to the networks where funding decisions are made.

PATVAAR is being built to fix this. Not with a directory. Not with a donation button. But with infrastructure.

For NGOs — Credibility Has No Standard
Each CSR team has its own checklist. Each foundation its own process. The same NGO answers the same questions, repeatedly, for every funder it approaches.
For CSR Teams — Due Diligence Is Broken
Weeks of calls, document requests and site visits — repeated for every potential partner. No standardised way to assess credibility at scale.
For Funders — Impact Cannot Be Measured
Annual reports are narrative PDFs. Utilisation certificates are single-page forms. No live, auditable system for tracking what a rupee of CSR funding actually achieves.
The Opportunity
India's development sector is large enough to justify serious infrastructure. PATVAAR is building that infrastructure — methodically, document by document, verification by verification.
What We Stand For

Three Principles.
No Exceptions.

Verified, Not Self-Reported
Every data point on PATVAAR is sourced from public filings or manually verified. We do not publish what organisations say about themselves — we publish what we can confirm from documents.
Transparent by Design
Our Trust Score methodology is published in full. Our fee structure is public. Our verification criteria are documented. If we cannot explain how we reached a conclusion, we do not publish it.
Outcomes, Not Intentions
We measure what changed, not what was planned. PATVAAR's impact tracking is built around verified beneficiary data, third-party assessments and audited utilisation — not projected numbers.

A Message from the Founder
"India's impact sector deserves infrastructure — not just goodwill."

I founded PATVAAR in 2026 with a single conviction: that the disconnect between capable NGOs and purposeful capital is not a problem of intent — it is a problem of infrastructure. Trust has no standard. Verification has no system. Impact has no shared language.

PATVAAR is our attempt to build that infrastructure — one verified organisation at a time. We are at the beginning. The platform is in Beta. Every verification, every Trust Score, every data point is being built with the same question: can we stand behind this?

If you run an NGO that deserves to be seen, or a CSR team that deserves better tools — this platform is being built for you. Join us early and help shape what it becomes.

Our Journey

From Conviction to Platform.

PATVAAR began as a response to a structural gap in India's impact sector. Every milestone represents a real problem we identified and began building a solution for.

We are actively building.
PATVAAR is a work in progress. We share this timeline not as a record of achievement, but as a commitment to honesty about where we are and where we are going.
